Guys...it's January 12th and I'm already in major anticipation of SUMMER!!! Since I know it is not even close to "just around the riverbend", I needed to change my blog background to something that reminded me of sunshine. Thus, the palm trees. I guess that the long winter is just something that we deal with here in Cache Valley, and since I love it so, I'll deal with it. But can I just vent for like...2 seconds? Top 5 reasons winter is NO BUENO!
1. Scraping the car windows!
2. Not being able to breath the red day air!
3. School!
4. Slippery ice!
5. Short days!

Good times! I think I've started to forget a little of what it's like to be in a cold climate, so thanks for reminding me! I admit that I did miss the snow around Christmas because it makes things so cozy and pretty. But now I'm remembering how much I disliked driving in it and not being able to enjoy being outside for a long time. Pros and cons of both. We have a high sun UV rating in NZ, so we burn faster here. So, too much sun can be as bad as too much snow, right?
Yeah, I'm like you...I like the snow during the month of December then I'm ready for Spring!! {Yikes, we're only half way through January!}
